Illustration Friday - Duet

Them good ol' boys were drinkin' whiskey 'n' rye

Singin this will be the day that I die.


This is a couple of  Aussie brush tail possums drinking up a Storm. The suns come up but they are still going. Not sure where the American Pie reference came from. I must be channeling them singing.

    That's great! Singing seems to happen a lot when drinking with friends. I love their bellies.

    Thanks everyone, a little possum magic perhaps :-), your comments buoy me. I liked your idea of it working for bottled as well so much Krista I thought about going with it as I won’t have time to illustrate this week but then I thought of this old image I had which could also work. I have so many ideas of what I could do but by the time I get pen / ink/ paint to paper it will be a new word. So glad I found your pages JA. Well on to the next image now …
